President's Message
Robert J. O’Donnell, D.D.S.

Thanks for All Your Hard Work
As the year winds down on my presidency, I reflect on all of the good
people we have in the Northern District. The Executive Council has
done a tremendous job of keeping members involved and informed. The
continuing education program was outstanding and we had attendance
that has not been seen for many years. The Diversity in Dentistry
program is vibrant and expanding with every meeting. The Staff
Appreciation Spring meeting continues to have nationally renowned
speakers to educate our members and staff. The Legislative agenda
was very positive and the Northern District was well represented by
over sixty of our members and Alliance at LAW Days throughout the
session.
Next up is the House of Delegates at the Annual Meeting. Amelia
Island and the Ritz Carlton should be wonderful. If you have never
been to the Annual meeting this is a great time to spend family time
amongst your colleagues. You can participate in as much or as little
of the events as you choose. If you have any concerns that should be
addressed at the House of Delegates please let me know and I will
make sure your voices are heard. If you are attending the Annual
meeting and have a desire to be a Delegate or an Alternate also
please let me know.
At the Annual meeting Dr. Chris Adkins will be installed as your new
President. He has been hard at work appointing chairmen and setting
the calendar for the coming year. Please continue to support his
efforts as you have mine to make the Northern District the best it
can be.
Lastly I would like to thank all of you for making this year very
special for me. I have enjoyed meeting members, new and old. It has
been a privilege to represent you on district and state level. The
district officers and chairmen have done the bulk of the work and
have made me and the Northern district shine. Also Hank Holderfield
and Laura McGowan of our Executive staff have made my job easy and
have been instrumental in keeping our district running smoothly. For
this I am eternally grateful.
Robert J. O’Donnell, D.D.S.
