Lasers in Periodontal Therapy
Dr. Laura Braswell
Wednesday, January 24
6:30 - 9 pm
New Image Dental Lab
Join us in south Metro-Atlanta for dinner and a workshop led by Dr. Laura Braswell of Buckhead Periodontics.
Periodontal therapy is always a challenge and success is based on the bacteria, the host response, genetics and anatomy. Lasers are helpful to augment traditional periodontal treatment by decreasing the bacterial insult while enhancing the host response. While we can't change genetics, we can help reshape anatomy for a more cleansable and maintainable dentition. Different techniques will be presented along with successes and failures from our practice.
